Originated by renowned theater director Katie Mitchell, the production was launched to address international theatrical projects for sustainability with a zero-travel policy and reduction of carbon footprint as the ultimate goals. The play thus is produced by various local teams in different countries through long-distance cooperation.

In the 2022 Taiwan production, I served as dramaturgy and fieldwork advisor. Alongside the director Hsini Lin and artists in the project, we collaborated to develop a new rendition of play by added local stories of racial justice into the script. A sound recording field trip to a mining aboriginal village was also organized, in order to incorporate the daily explosions of on major cement mine into the sound design of the play.
